For over 60 years, Susan has been creating works of art that engage viewers via distinct techniques. She holds a Master’s Degree in Art History and spent much of her professional career passing on her love of art as a longtime teacher at the prestigious Whitney Young College Prep High School in Chicago.
Texture
Susan is always finding ways to add real-world textures into her paintings. Using techniques such as embedded natural fibers, layered textures, Japanese papers, and oil paint she is able to weave life into her paintings.
Travel
For Susan, traveling has inspired the beautiful visuals, rich memories, and precious family moments to create one-of-a-kind art. Her works will transport you to other times and other places.
Size
Her works have an immersive quality due to the large format size of her works. Amazingly, you will find new details and meaning every time you view the paintings. All paintings are mounted and framed for easy installation.
